My son is crazy active also. I'm not sure how the Lowe's workshop works because I haven't been to one yet, I wasn't feeling good yesterday. At the Home Depot workshop they do use nails and all that. I normally start the nail for him then he finishes nailing it in. Sometimes he gets tired at the end so I just hurry and finish it. It's nice though because he's learning on the job ya know. Home Depots class is the first Saturday of every month.
