This weekend was really a sad one for Jan Pettey and friends, to let you know that bad news travels fast, I got a call from a fan club member all the way from Arkansas, to give me the news..that our friends at Pinelake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Carthage, N.C. had been attacked by a gunman on Sunday Morning. the whole idea is to get people of all ages to spend time together..but the kids I have taken on the field trips with me so far have been in the Jr. High age...special ed..good kids:) they make gifts to take to the residents in their classes..like blankets..pot holders, letter holders, jewelry, picture frames, all kinds of things..people have given me materials and I have given them to other groups and asked them to use them for what they want and just give me one or two things they make to give… Continue
